Payment for work, not for outcome.
50 % on commissioning / accepting the scope, 50 % on delivery of the agreed deliverable. That is a work milestone, not a result guarantee.
In advising, the second tranche is not tied to the viva, the grade, the degree or “thesis acceptance”. A round of formal adjustment, if it is in the scope, is work — not a payment for a pass.

Undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students in the US, Europe and worldwide who need structure, editing or style — and who keep authorship before their institution.
Who it is not for
Anyone looking for a text ready to file as their own. That is outside the contract and university rules.
